Can 3D movies influence the Psyche?
Everyone knows the scene above; those piercing eyes of “Hannibal Lecter” from the movie Silence of the Lambs. It was an all time great movie and in 2D! Why use it as the subject of discussion for 3D movies?
Well, just to open our minds (no pun intended) a bit, we could ask a question…what if this movie was made in 3D? would there have been an even greater impact on the audiences? Would capturing those intense expressions, that skin texture and those hypnotic eyes in 3D bring the character that much closer to us? would it make him more intimidating? Would the dreams or nightmares be more vivid the next few nights for audiences? Do we even dream in 3D?…
