3D Filmmaking: Learn from a Master Storyteller.
I was hooked from the very beginning, by the keynote address at the recent Cinema India Conference, held at the picturesque Renaissance Convention Center, Mumbai.
Mr. Ramesh Sippy, a veteran film maker known perhaps best for his blockbuster film of the 70’s; “Sholay”, struck home with his wisdom on Stereoscopic storytelling.
“Bollywood” while a disparaging term to some of the professionals in the Indian Film industry, has come to be recognized (and appreciated) as a style of film making. We use the term in this article not to ridicule, but hopefully to inspire the world’s largest movie making industry to prove that it can shine where Hollywood 3D seems to be foundering and is in danger of relegating 3D movies yet again as a fad.

Yesterday we got an invite to attend a day long intensive session on products that comprise Harris Corporations’ advanced media workflows that allow broadcasters to deploy 3DTV, 3Gb/s, HD and integrated baseband/broadband operations easily and cost-effectively. Being interested in 3DTV, we were among the first to RSVP to attend the seminar.
