Laser scanning is not new, and for that matter, neither is stereoscopic 3D. It’s been the domain of Oil and Gas exploration, data visualization, Geological and other surveys and in Medicine for a long time. But it’s time to shine has only recently come with price of hardware and technology in general becoming more accessible and affordable to everyone.

With more media being produced in Stereoscopic 3D today, than ever before, there is a big demand for Stereoscopic Quality Control for these productions. Everything from 30 second AD films, to animation and Feature Films are now in Stereoscopic 3D.
But as we know, producing good S3D content is not a matter of owning the latest fail safe 3D rig, or having 3D signal analysis gear on-location. Upcoming 3D Masterclass in Stereo3D production; December at SMA, Singapore:
Real Vision will be conducting an intensive 3 day Masterclass in stereoscopic 3D production at the Singapore Media Academy from December 6th – 8th this year. The workshop is supported by the Media Development Authority of Singapore and will take place during the upcoming Asia Television Forum (ATF).
